Ronya will discuss the visions and philosophy of tribal colleges, how they began, and their effect on Native American society. Ronya has been involved in tribal colleges since the fall of 1995, first as a student and now as she continues to take classes and is a Career Counselor at Sitting Bull College at Fort Yates on Standing Rock Reservation.
