"THE GREAT TURNING: EVOLUTION OF COMMUNITY"

This talk will be based on a book and Unitarian Universalist Association’s General Assembly presentation by David Korten, author of the book, The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community. Hal will talk about ways to create peace for oneself personally, in your family, in your community, nationally, and internationally. He will address both changing culture strategically as well tactical methods.

Hal is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Superior, has conducted research on human aggression since 1970 and is a Fellow in the International Society for Research on Aggression. He is active on the UU Peacemaking Congregational Study Action issue. He has been a member of 13 different UU congregations and Board President in Salt Lake City, Fargo, and Duluth.
