Today started like any other Thursday. We had lessons with Lissa for most of the day. At lunch, however, we had to pause—not only from the gnawing pains in our empty bellies—but also because of the Tornado alert. The storm was descending rapidly upon Boston and so we quickly went down to the basement of our building. Unfortunately, the rain from the storm soon caused a spell of flash flooding and since we live right across the street from the river, our basement was soon full of river water. We didn’t quite know what to do. Upstairs meant tornado, downstairs meant polluted river water. We were about to lose all hope when our balloon dog, Ruby, discovered a secret entrance in the wall that led to another world. Yes. We, or more technically Ruby, had discovered the door to Middle Earth. Hobbits are so very friendly. Elves are a bit standoffish. Wizards are…well…old. We decided to have lunch in Middle Earth. It was cheap. And so ends a very eventful Thursday….
Alright! Alright! I actually have no memory of Thursday but I didn’t want to just say that and I thought this would be more exciting. I hope everyone enjoyed it and I hope I don’t scare anyone who didn’t think to read the whole post.
That’ll teach anyone who just skims my blog.
