During this past season of giving, our congregation joined together to celebrate the tradition of Guest at Your Table. The November 22, 2009 service was in honor of the seventh principle of Unitarian Universalism: our covenant to affirm and promote “respect for the interdependent web of all existence, of which we are a part”. From that day until now, we welcome unseen guests from around the world introduced to us through the work of the UU Service Committee. We helped celebrate these courageous individuals by collecting donations in our Guest at Your Table box. Today we give back our box and our donations will be sent to the UUSC. Remeber, to become at UUSC member for an individual is a donation of $40.00, for 2 adults, $75.00. If your donation is $100.00 or more it will be eligible to be matched by the UU Congregation of Shelter Rock in Manhasset, NY.
