Today was a good day. We all got up (except Alex, who went to Providence to see the Waterfires) early to meet Alex at Arlington Street Church. The service was amazing. Everyone was laughing throughout most of the service. The regular minister was gone and in her place were these two guys—quite the comedic pair. If anyone wants to listen to their service, remind me sometime and I’ll check to see if they’ve posted it yet. Just to pique the interest, it was probably one of the funniest services I’ve been to. I even got a Jesus band-aid! Just throwing that out there.
Anywho, we got back from Church and had Bruggers(sp?) Bagels for lunch. Right after that we hopped on the T and headed to the Museum of Fine Arts. It seems like we saw everything even though I’m sure that’s not the case. We were there for about 4 hours though. I’m pretty sure that’s my record for time spent in a single museum. Intense is one word for it. Exhausting is another. I did get some souvenirs to remind myself of the experience though! I got an ankh mirror and a scarab beetle figure thing, along with a couple postcards. That pretty much wiped me out for the rest of the day.
