Today was an O K day at UUSC. There was more data entry for the never-ending church directory. Then Shayla had more projects for us to do to help her get ready for the Civil Rights Journey. On my breaks I got to read my new book I got from BnN. It’s called Thieves Like Us by Stephen Cole. I finished it this afternoon. It wasn’t that bad either. I was worried because it was kind of an impulse buy. I hadn’t heard anything about the book before. But it was pretty good—it would make a good action movie. But anyway, Ben and I got back around 4:00 and we met up with Annie on the way because she was just coming back from the bank. Then I sat in my room in front of the fan and finished my book with a nice and cold Diet Coke. It got pretty warm today, about 90 degrees. I heard that tomorrow is going to be more like 96 degrees though… Not cool. Not cool at all (Pun intended).
We had Taco Bell for supper, partly because it’s cheap and mostly because we have no other foodstuffs. Don’t worry though folks, the plan is to go shopping tonight for all the essentials. Which will come out to be quite a bit if the list we started is anything to go by.
