Due to Bismarck Public Schools being closed for Teacher Conferences, there will be no Sunday School on October 25, 2009. There WILL be supervised activities in both Classrooms.
November 29, 2009
Due to Bismarck Public Schools being closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, there will be no Sunday School on November 29, 2009. There WILL be supervised activities in both Classrooms.
December 27, 2009 and January 3, 2010
Public Schools are closed during the Winter Holiday Break, however we will have Sunday School on both of these Sundays.

VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF OUR UU KIDS!! All of the kids will be hanging their STARS that they made at the end of Service today. We are either mailing or hand delivering STARS for all of those kids who were not in church on Sunday, Jan. 17. Please have your children decorate their STARS at home and bring them to church on Sunday, Jan. 24. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 223-6788. Thank you!!!

Parents of Sunday School children
On Sunday, March 14, the children will participate in the church service. Please have them in their Sunday school
rooms at 10:45 AM for one last practice of "We are Unitarians! We are Universalists" plus the Church Finger play.
In church they will sit together in the front rows with Gina, Patrick and Carol Jean.
If your child was not in church March 7, they can certainly be involved with their buddies this Sunday. Guitarist Patrick will give them their cues.

On Sunday, March 21, at 12:30 PM following service, there will be a very important meeting regarding the future Spiritual Development of our UU children. Come have a cup of tea, bring your thoughts and ideas and join the conversation. Childcare and lunch for the kids will be provided. Tea and snacks for the adults will be available as well. Questions? Easter Sunday Brunch and Service

Parents of UU Children Meeting
Thanks to all the parents who met in March to start to get to know each other and discuss the children’s Spiritual Development Program. Special thanks to all the amazing folks who stayed to help with childcare and pizza. Thank you Pat, Hannah, Steve, Janis, Don, Edward, Dennis, and Monica! The next meeting is scheduled for April 11 at 12:30 at the Fellowship. Childcare provided with pizza and applesauce for the kids and tea and treats for adults. Today in our Sunday School-Age Classroom: Children will be sharing stories about courage and perseverance then creating a comic strip or book about a real-life hero who worked hard for something they believed in.
Today in our Sunday Pre-school Classroom: Chalice Children continue with a unit on "Church Is People". We will learn that our church is a place where people celebrate love in all kinds of families.

Today in Sunday School: We will celebrate the springtime baby creatures that share our world. There will be some fun, but messy “nest building”. Both classes will be together with parents, Liz Anderson, Andrea Polk & Tammy Hathaway.

Today in Sunday School-Age Classroom: We will be doing our lesson on Humor. We will connect sandpaper, a tool for smoothing rough edges with humor, a quality of our Unitarian Universalist faith which can smooth the rough edges of life
Today in Sunday Pre-School Classroom: Chalice Children: Today we finish our "Church Is People" unit with conversation about child dedications in our church. Next week we begin our final unit on "We Wonder". Our church is a place to wonder and ask questions.
