“DYING TO LIVE”
Jay Basquiat
Death, the dread specter, was embraced by the ancient philosophers as the key to life and living well. Jay Basquiat will consider their views in relation to our modern anxieties about death, seeking that integration and acceptance of death as the philosophical source of a fuller, richer life here and now. Jay teaches philosophy at Bismarck State College and operates Baskets of Plenty Community Supported Agriculture for the Bismarck-Mandan area.
