“WHAT’S LENT GOT TO DO WITH UUs?”

Lent: a cultural blend of Pagan customs honoring the time when the barren Earth rests before the fertile spring again arrives. Lent: a legacy of Christian practices honoring Jesus’ life and death. What might we learn from the spiritual practice of fasting that may deepen our relationship to that which ultimately is life-giving and sustains us?
