What does it mean for us to “welcome all,” as our vision statement says, when our banner calls us “the uncommon denomination”? Is there a way to welcome others, while remaining true to our own beliefs and visions? Karen will consider the model of personal authenticity – rather than compromise – in nurturing a welcoming community.

Karen Van Fossan is a Dance/Movement Therapist and recent Archibald Bush Artist Fellow.
