starting out

I cannot expect myself nor anyone to DAILY give personal revelations or personal discoveries; however, I must say the enticement that someone would actually find my personal musings to be of interest leads me to post this... since becoming a member of the Bis-Man UU Fellowship, I can say my life has taken a more complete HUMANISTIC direction. Yes, humanism is what I have always believed in and have tried to support for decades. Through the Bis-Man UU, it's programs, fellowship, etc., I have taken advantage of so many opportunities offered to actively participate in the humanity I love so much!

For me, personally, if it would not have been for the chance to share a bit of "elbow space" at The Walrus with Vinod and Aruna Seth and their humanity, it may have been months or years before I "found" this fellowship and all that is offered!

Please take their example, take time to talk to people, to show true interest in humanity, and to share what YOU may have to offer!

Before I forget! If it would not be for Carol Jean and her dedication to education, which includes loaning/trusting me with an autographed book by Amy Goodman, I would have never stumbled on the website for this author: DemocracyNow.org. I am fortunate and privileged to be transcribing for DemocracyNow.org, and find this endeavor another educational opportunity (as well as self-fulfilling because I love to volunteer!). I may agree with a bit less than 100% of the issues discussed and debated in this program, but isn't that life? What an EDUCATION! Thank you Carol Jean!
