Diversity is one of the ways that we are called to recognize that we all live in a world in which we are designed to be in communion with others who are different from us. As an Old Farmer once said, "I never learned anything from someone that agreed with me". We grow from our interaction and our sharing with those that see life differently. This makes for stronger communities, stronger churches, stronger homes and stronger people. When we celebrate and embrace the gift of diversity, we will find the way to a more complete and more abundant tomorrow.
