Bismarck/ Mandan Unitarian Universalist Family Covenant
The Family of the Bismarck Mandan Unitarian Universalist Church works together to make this a special, safe and fun place to be. We come to church to celebrate, to learn, to make friends, and to be help others. We come to explore who we are, where we come from, and how we live our lives. We come to church to hear stories, to light candles, to have a moment of quiet, to sing a song, to play, and to notice the wonder and mysteries of the world. We come to church to be together in a loving, caring community.
UU parents are invited to attend a Wrap up Look Ahead meeting this Sunday, May 22 from 11:40 - 12:30. We will take this opportunity to review what was accomplished this past year, discuss the plan for next year and review some of the exciting options that lie ahead. There are some exciting new changes for the 2010-2011 program year.
We are increasing our capacity by adding two more classrooms in our building! We will be moving our Library to the northeast end of the building in order to provide easier access to our wonderful collection of books and resources.
Our Religious Education Committee has worked very hard in order to ensure that our growing number of children's spiritual needs are being met with loving, caring teachers and exemplary curriculum!
Today is our last Sunday service and children's programming day until September 12, 2010. Today the Sunday school children were presented with a gift from the congregation and the Sunday school teachers were honored for their dedication and committment to the future of our UU Faith - our children.
This portion of our website will be updated throughout the summer as things fall into place for the the children's and teen's Spiritual Development Program beginning again in the fall.
